Salve Splendor is in the Dorian mode, and my improvised Prelude in the Mixolydian mode. I used an eagle-quill plectrum.

Hymn to Saint Magnus - a beautiful hymn, largely in thirds, performed on medieval lute, wire-strung clarsach (Bill Taylor) and voice (Paul Rendall). This song is still sung in Orkney.
